Symptoms

After setting the EXE Path parameter in the Driver Options dialog for a Visual Basic 5 or Visual Basic 6 project, the new setting does not stick. Instead, the setting reverts to the original, default value. This problem only affects users who have installed VB5 or VB6 in non-default directories on their systems.

Cause

The VB5 and VB6 drivers are failing to save the new settings.
