IEEE-USA provides $564.16 grant for stethoscope project

In 2006, the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) began accepting grant funding proposals from school teachers who would like to introduce their students to engineering through innovative projects.

The West Branch Engineering Club developed and submitted a proposal for an Electronic Stethoscopes project, and the IEEE Precollege Education Committee agreed to provide $564.16 in funding for our project.

According to the grant program coordinator, the West Branch Engineering Club is only the fourth organization in the USA to receive funding under this program. We are honored that the committee has chosen to provide funding for our project, and we would like to express our sincere gratitude to the IEEE for its generous support.
